This summer I had the opportunity to volunteer in the Galapagos Islands thanks to a program called Global Leadership Adventures. This experience was the most amazing one I’ve ever had to date, and I’m still in awe of it. With GLA I was able to swim with sea turtles, hike on a volcano, and see marine iguanas on a daily basis. The total trip was two weeks, and we went to four different islands. Everyday was like a dream, I couldn’t believe it was actually happening to me. I was swimming with sea lions and sea turtles! Who else can say that? The service was amazing as well, we worked in the Galapagos Tortise sanctuary, with the tortises. With Global Leadership Adventures, everything is already planned out for you, which makes the stress disappear. You have the opportunity to meet amazing people, and do something that most people can only dream of.

I have the honor to be selected as the Ambassador, I get to spread the word about Global Leadership Adventures’ amazing programs and help students learn more.
