Rand Rosecrans was interested to come here to the LPO. He has been a chef for about 25 years. Rand has managed a kitchen and teaching environment, while teaching mostly in Alaska.  Rand was drawn to the LPO because the school system here seems to actually want to teach kids about the real world and really prepare them for the future. Rand has a lot of knowledge about kitchen professionalism and the same with becoming a professional chef and ascending there as a person in the culinary business.

Rand has some interesting pursuits from vintage motorcycles to being in the outdoors. From motorcycles to old trucks, Rand has interest in making things work and process the way they were suppose to originally. Rand likes to refer to them as old iron because old things last.

Rand is also very into hands-on, working at being self-sufficient with his own garden and solar panels. He also likes working with old machines such as tractors.
