Randy’s Guitars

All of you have probably been to Randy’s room at some point this year. When you were in his room, you most likely have seen all of his guitars. Most of those came from a grant that Randy wrote through Brandi Carlile’s Looking Out Foundation, whose mission is to support, through music, humanitarian outreach efforts in local communities and beyond. Not all of the guitars in Randy’s room came from that. Some were donated, and others were bought by Randy himself. Randy keeps these guitars on his walls so that kids can play them, even though the guitars could be damaged. But those are not his only guitars. He has around twelve at home, which includes 3 Classicals, 2 Electrics, 2 Acoustic/Electrics, 1 12-String guitar, and 2 Mandolins. The reason that Randy would bring his precious guitars to school is to help bring his passion to kids and to spread the joy. So, come check out his guitars sometime, if you haven’t. If you have, then give one a try.
